A recent on-site inspection of the curve on Bellflower Road was carried out earlier last week. As part of this inspection, a car equipped with a force-measuring device was driven around the curve in both directions at differing speeds. This industry-standard test allows council to mathematically analyse the appropriate speed for vehicles to travel around a given curve in a safe manner.
